Mega Tornado: Weather Terror, C5, 8pm
CLIMATE change has resulted in extreme weather events, and natural disasters such as hurricanes, droughts, tornadoes, heat waves and flooding are becoming more frequent and unpredictable.
This two-part programme features the terrifying true accounts of communities caught in the middle of dangerous weather events. Weaving together interviews, archival footage, smartphone videos, tweets, desperate emergency calls, urgent texts and Facebook posts, it chronicles the gripping timeline from calm, to storm, to devastating aftermath.
Britain’s Got Talent, STV, 8pm
ANT and Dec host the 13th series of the nationwide talent search, joined by judging panel Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
An assortment of acts will be displaying their talents, hoping to win the grand prize of £250,000 and the opportunity to appear at the Royal Variety Performance.

THE third series of Jeppe Gjervig Gram’s Danish thriller Bedrag hurtles towards a gripping conclusion. Alf and Stine hunt for the wounded Nicky but find that he is one step ahead of them. Can the duo reach the criminal kingpin before he escapes the country?
Anna, who has been laundering Nicky’s drug money through the bank, realises that he can no longer help her when her family is sought out by Lala and his criminal partners. But everything changes again when she receives an offer she simply cannot refuse.
Secret of the Severed Heads: Viking Apocalypse, C5, 9pm
IT’S June 2009, and in the south of England, near Weymouth, Dorset, road builders are digging foundations for a new road. Cutting through the chalk, the excavator makes a shocking discovery. In a shallow grave is a tangled mass of headless skeletons, and to one side there is a pile of more than 50 severed male skulls. Who are these victims in this burial pit and why were they killed? This film pieces together the events that led up to this massacre, revealing secrets of the Scandinavian warriors who once brought terror to Britain centuries ago.
Cycling: Tour de Yorkshire Live, ITV4, 9am & 2.30pm
THE fifth staging of the UCI Europe Tour event reaches a climax. First, there is coverage of the second and final stage of the women’s race, as the elite riders take on a testing 132km route from Bridlington to Scarborough. Then, it’s stage three of the men’s race, with the riders cycling a similar route up the east coast of Yorkshire. Presented by Gary Imlach, with analysis from Phil Deignan, commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports from Daniel Friebe.
