THE UK Government has said it will block any request from Scotland for a Section 30 order to hold a second independence referendum.

It comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon last week set out her plans to put in place legislation to hold indyref2 before the end of this Scottish Parliament.

The Tories are now climbing over each other to say they won't grant a Section 30 request ... but how consistent is that message? And how hypocritical is it?
