THE SNP has launched a new website as part of its independence campaign.

On the same day on which Nicola Sturgeon updated Holyrood on the next steps towards a second referendum on Scottish independence, her party has made the website Yes.scot live.

"Yes.scot is the SNP’s exciting new online portal for the independence campaign," said SNP depute leader Keith Brown.

"Our vision is of a dynamic one-stop resource, designed to empower campaigners with all the resources they will need to win more and more people over and build a majority for independence."

The website has a promo video as part of it's home page, with other sections reserved for encouraging visitors to the page to register their support or donate to the cause.

Below that is several pieces of information and resources on how you can help spread the word.

The website states that the immediate objective of the the party is next month's EU elections before they turn their attention to "building an independence majority".
