THE latest Yes group to hand out free copies of The National was Yes Pollok in Glasgow.
They delivered 1000 free copies throughout the Greater Pollok and Cardonald ward on Saturday.
Yes Pollok also handed out copies at their street stall and all of us at Scotland’s only daily pro-independence newspaper are very grateful for their efforts.
The group told us: “All went very well, despite the heat! Thank you for giving us the papers for free to distribute.”

Tonight Yes Pollok will be hosting an important meeting in Lourdes Secondary School at Kirriemuir Avenue from 7pm until 9pm.
The group is looking for new members and new ideas for their way ahead on the road to a second independence referendum.
Yes Pollok said: “Please join us to organise campaigning and events. We welcome previous and new campaigners, members from all parties and none. We are looking for volunteers and ideas.”
Staying in the city, Glasgow Pensioners for Independence will be meeting in the Bacchus Bar at 80 Glassford Street on Friday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm.
On Saturday we will have a preview of the Outer Hebrides March and Rally for Independence which will take place in Stornoway on Saturday afternoon. The event will be followed by a ceilidh dance in Stornoway Golf Club, and anyone intending to attend any of the events on Saturday should let the organisers know via Facebook.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
