PRO-BREXIT protesters accused the First Minister of "treachery" as she spoke to journalists outside Westminster this evening.

Nicola Sturgeon was answering questions on her meeting with the Prime Minister earlier today.

As she spoke, Leave backers shouted "traitor" and "treachery in the Palace of Westminster", but pro-Remain campaigners attempted to drown out the comments.

The pro-EU protesters shouted "stop Brexit" and "revoke Article 50" through a loudspeaker.

Regarding the meeting, the SNP leader said she came out of it not much clearer on where May is “prepared to give ground than I was before I went in".

She added she would "continue to stand up for Scotland’s interests because Scotland’s interests are in jeopardy at the moment."

Sturgeon continued to say she was "very concerned that that will continue to be the case – and that perhaps neither the Tories or Labour, in these discussions they’re having, are paying enough interest if any interest at all to what Scotland’s interests are".
