THE BBC has again failed to broadcast Ian Blackford's House of Commons speech during a crucial day in the Brexit process.

The BBC News channel broadcast Theresa May’s speech, and the many interventions in full before doing the same for Jeremy Corbyn’s.

MP are debating ahead of a key vote this evening on the Prime Minister's Brexit deal. 

After the leader of the opposition had finished, Bill Cash began to speak and the BBC cut away to its news presenter for a series of interviews.

The BBC's coverage then included discussions with the DUP’s EU spokesman Sammy Wilson, Georgina Wright from the Institute for Government, Jacob Rees-Mogg and Tory MP Daniel Kawczynski.

During this time the SNP’s leader at Westminster started to deliver his response to the Prime Minister and the interviews continued, with Scotland’s voice at Westminster again ignored by the state broadcaster.

A similar incident happened back in January after the Prime Minister suffered a humiliating Commons defeat.

On that occasion May and Corbyn’s speeches were broadcast in full but the footage cut back to Andrew Neil just as the Speaker of the House John Bercow called on Blackford to speak.
