“BETRAYAL!” bray the out-of-date silo thinkers of Scottish Labour, rushing to the defence of their prohibitively expensive pet project of a rail link between Glasgow Airport and Glasgow Central Station.

Onward connections for Glasgow Airport passengers are indeed poorly facilitated by two separate Glasgow train stations, with the Glasgow underground being connected to only one main Glasgow rail station, and an isolated Glasgow bus station.

So, shuttle pod it must be, between Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Airport, but also underground moving walkways between Glasgow Queen Street rail station/Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus station, and Glasgow Central station/Glasgow St Enoch Square underground station.
