THE Budget debate had its fair share of funny moments – like when Roseanna Cunningham fell off her chair – but perhaps the funniest was when Neil Findlay accidentally sent his budget speech to all Scottish ministers.

This led to Finance Secretary Derek Mackay fact-checking the speech live.

In his speech, Labour MSP Findlay said cuts are putting swimming pools, libraries and community centres are at risk.

He also claimed teaching vacancies are rising and schools are considering shorter weeks as a result.

Mackay had printed out a copy of the speech and read along as Findlay spoke.

"The figures are all wrong now", Mackay said. "He can cut out the personal insults too."

Twitter users were quick to comment on the error.

And it isn't even the first time Findlay has made such an error ...

Findlay admitted his computer skills aren't great.

We think the faux pas sums up the shambles that is the Scottish Labour party.
