REMAIN-supporting Tory MP Anna Soubry has again been shouted down by pro-Brexit protesters outside Westminster during a televised interview.
The Broxtowe MP, who has been a vocal campaigner for a People's Vote, was subject to chants of "Soubry is a Nazi" while being interviewed by Simon McCoy.

Following the taunts, Soubry denied feeling intimidated by the protesters.

Former SNP depute leader Angus Robertson responded to the incident on Twitter, commenting "what an appalling state of affairs".
What an appalling state of affairs. Personally I think that @Anna_Soubry is extremely brave and principled. Notwithstanding our political differences she has my complete respect and admiration on #Brexit https://t.co/wrrHfiKjXJ

Other Twitter users also condemned the protesters' actions.
Disgraceful behaviour. If it was happening at a football match, the police would move in and the Club would impose a lifetime ban. So why is it 'ok' in this setting?

After the murder of Jo Cox, it is extremely worrying to see individual MPs like @Anna_Soubry and others become a focal point for this kind of vitriol. Now would be a good time for Johnson, Rees-Mogg and others to speak up and try and calm the people they've whipped into a frenzy. https://t.co/mBxhyx7moK

What has our Country come to when watching @BBCNews all you can hear is chants from protesters calling @Anna_Soubry a Nazi - how disgusting and offensive- they do their causes no good!

There has been a number of pro-Brexit demonstrations held outside Westminster in recent months, with one this weekend seeing four arrests being made.
And just last month, Soubry was escorted by police as she was followed by so-called "yellow-vest" Brexiteers outside Westminster who called her a "traitor", a "disgrace" and a "Nazi".
Members of the group, which is inspired by the French gilets jaunes protests, have also followed and shouted down journalist Owen Jones.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
