HOSPITALITY firm Sodexo is expanding its team the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

Marco Nobrega will take on the role of head chef and Sara Gray will be a recruitment and training executive.

He started his career in Maderia before travelling throughout Corsica and the Channel Islands, and has settled in the capital. Nobrega has worked in top hotels and restaurants across Edinburgh, most recently working as head chef in the Bonham Hotel

Nobrega will introduce new concepts to the restaurant’s menu, using the best locally sourced produce.

Gray has previously helped more than 300 clients into employment.

Fraser Sharp of Sodexo said the new team “will enrich the Botanic’s offering for customers and team development."
