JEREMY Corbyn looks set to call a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister, but only if she fails to set a date for a meaningful vote on her Brexit deal before Christmas.

Ahead of Theresa May's speech in the House of Commons, due to take place shortly, reports are suggesting that the Labour leader will call a for the motion.

If called, it is believed that the motion of no confidence will be in May and not in the Government.

A vote on the PM, as opposed to the Government, would not trigger an election and could mean more Tory MPs will be persuaded to vote against their leader without bringing down the Government.
