The new 4G site is one of 30 across Argyll and Bute
ISLANDERS on Seil, near Oban, can now link up to superfast 4G mobile after operator EE built a new mobile site there.
It is one of 30 new sites now online across Argyll and Bute, with key transport routes, including the B844 and B8003, also covered.
The expansion is part of EE’s investment to connect rural areas and provide coverage for the new Emergency Services Network.
Argyll and Bute SNP MP, Brendan O’Hara, said: “Improving mobile signal in rural areas is key to helping us compete as a town, and we welcome EE’s investment in improving the digital infrastructure within Balvicar.”
