OUR readers have once again gone the extra mile to promote the only newspaper in the country that supports an independent Scotland.

This time it was Yes Kelty who answered The National’s call for grassroots groups to help distribute the paper in their communities.

More than 1500 copies of The National, including vouchers for the Sunday National, were successfully delivered to

residents in and around the Kelty/Cowdenbeath/Kinross area on Saturday.

Local businesses, hairdressers, pubs and cafes also took some copies to give away to their customers.

Yes Kelty’s Carol Gilmour said: “It was a very good day – we are delighted to be able to help our only independence-supporting newspaper. A special thanks to activists who came from Dunfermline and Oakley to help.”
