THE Scottish Centre on European Relations (SCER) – Scotland’s independent EU think tank – has begun a crowdfunder for a major report and series of events on Scotland’s relationship with Europe in the Brexit era.

Scotland and Europe: Disruption, Continuity and Change will feature an in-depth investigation of the future of the EU and it’s long-term ambitions. The report and event series will then ask what Scotland’s contribution could and should be to that European future.

The SCER, led by director and The National contributor Kirsty Hughes, is seeking community support for the programme. Featuring public debates and expert roundtable discussions, it aims to prompt decision-makers to promote clear, considered policies on key issues.
