ON the BBC’s Sunday Politics programme, three times Tory MP Kirstene Hair was asked if she would support Theresa May’s Brexit deal. After much cringeworthy incomprehensible waffling, this aspiring Sarah Palin failed to answer.

When pressed to give assurances that the UK would be leaving the Common Fisheries Policy, again she could not answer. Hair, it should be recalled, did not vote in the EU referendum as the choice was “very difficult”.

Her colleague Sheryll Murray was unequivocal. She stated that the Brexit deal means the UK will be staying in the CFP. As a result of this Murray has submitted a letter of no confidence in Theresa May. Murray is also said she will vote against the Brexit deal.

Since David Mundell and Ruth Davidson both threatened to resign if Northern Ireland was treated differently from Scotland, then backtracked, we can assume the fishermen will too be sold down the river by the Tories.

On top of “Scottish” Tories’ empty posturing, Nadine Dorries is criticising the Brexit deal for not retaining any MEPs. The madness of Brexit is suddenly being exposed.
