OFF the north-east coast of Australia lies the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of our world. It provides shelter to hidden wildlife sanctuaries that contain magical marine creatures. With marine biologist Richard Fitzpatrick, conservationist Iolo Williams dives beneath the surface of the coral sea to discover what state this natural wonder is in.

AS Joanna’s Silk Road Adventure draws to a close, she travels across the central Asian states of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Starting in the Kyzl-Kum desert, she explores the citadel of Khiva, a town infamous for its history of slavery. A high-speed train then whisks her to the magnificent 14th-century architecture of Samarkand before heading to mountainous Kyrgyzstan, where she meets DJs, K-Pop groups, eagle hunters and yak herders. Her journey ends near the Chinese border, at the old Silk Road caravanserai of Tash Rabat.

GALLERY owner Elinor and fitness entrepreneur Born set themselves the task of creating Britain’s first hypoallergenic house in a leafy back garden in south-west London. Driven by the need to alleviate their two young sons’ life-threatening allergies, their part-submerged, shed-inspired home will be constructed using low toxin materials and deploy cutting-edge filtration systems to clean the air they breathe.

THERE’S “no time for nonsense”, according the trailer for this year’s series. And to demonstrate just how much is at stake, Lord Sugar summons the aspiring entrepreneurs to his boardroom before sending them abroad. The teams jet off to this year’s capital of culture, Valletta, in Malta, on a day-long shopping spree. The challenge: to bag nine Maltese items for the lowest possible prices before reuniting back at the airport by 7pm, but one team disregards the deadline.
