FORMER Ukip leader Nigel Farage will be returning to his regular spot on the BBC's Question Time for a 32nd appearance – and people aren't happy.
Farage, who remains an MEP but has repeatedly failed to be elected to Westminster, will appear on the show on Thursday.
Despite Ukip having no MPs at present, and their record number being a paltry two, Farage has racked up more appearances than any other individual since the turn of the century.
It's been pointed out in the past how little the SNP have appeared by comparison – even though the party has 35 sitting MPs.
He'll be joined by Conservative MP Ken Clarke, who holds the all-time record for guest spots, along with Labour MP Owen Smith, businesswoman Michelle Dewberry, and TV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya.
With Question Time's obsession with Farage a well-known phenomena, users on social media shared their thoughts.
Why has Farage been given a platform again?

Not Nigel Farage! Has he got a season ticket?

Why Nigel Farage @bbcquestiontime - who does he represent?

Hey guys maybe we have had enough of Nigel Farage. He’s been on question time more than anyone else ever and his party is dead. Let someone new on.

Farage? Really now? Have you no shame?

BBC still giving so much oxygen to UKIP. Can you remind the country how many MPs they have?

Why do you insist on giving that shameless scrounger a platform? Make him earn his money by doing an honest job for once, don't hand out the BBC meal ticket.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
