Have you seen this incredible version of Highland Cathedral, complete with bagpipes and a stunning Scottish backdrop?

The performance, by André Rieu & his Johann Strauss Orchestra live in Maastricht, the Netherlands, has been shared on social media by people all over the world.

And with good reason. Since it was posted last month, it now has racked up more than HALF A MILLION views on YouTube alone.

Andre Rieu is a Dutch is a conductor who, along with his orchestra, has turned classical and waltz music into a worldwide concert touring act, comparable with the biggest modern pop stars.

The melody for Highland Catherdral was composed by German musicians Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb in 1982 for a Highland games in Germany.

It has often been proposed as the Scottish national anthem to replace unofficial anthems Scotland the Brave and/or Flower of Scotland.
