SCOTT Sinclair is expecting more excitement and drama when Hibernian travel to Celtic Park on Saturday.
The Ladbrokes Premiership matches at Parkhead and Easter Road between the clubs this season have both ended in 2-2 draws, while Celtic won 4-2 in the Betfred Cup semi-final at Hampden Park in October.
The 28-year-old winger believes the Leith side's propensity to attack will make for another cracking encounter.
The former Aston Villa and Manchester City player said: "They are a good side and every time we have played against them it has been an exciting game.
"They come out, attack and they have some good players. It makes the game a little bit more exciting.
"Teams come, sit back and go for the draw, but Hibs come straight out the blocks, they obviously want to win, they get on the front foot and it is an exciting game when we play against them.
"It is up to us to make sure we perform and win."
Sinclair scored his 17th goal of the season with a penalty in the 2-1 away win over Partick Thistle on Tuesday night.
He admits to targeting his goal tally of 25 from last season, his first at the club, but not to the detriment of the team, who sit 11 points clear of Old Firm rivals Rangers at the top of the table.
He said: "For me it is trying to beat everything, the assists, the goals, the trophies.
"You always want to improve and do better every single day.
"Obviously I want to beat it, but I don't want to look too far ahead.
"I just go into the next game looking to do as well as I can, to create and score and help the team to win."
Manager Brendan Rodgers is an admirer of Hibs counterpart Neil Lennon and how he "wants the players to express themselves".
He said: "Neil has a very good football side there and he tries to make them play as a big team.
"He is an outstanding manager and he wants them to work in a certain way which is aligned to the big clubs and big teams.
"Football supporters want to see a good football game and if I am a supporter my preference is to watch a team that isn't just camped in, but a team that tries to play football.
"But there is no right or wrong way and you try to maximise what you can get out of your players.
"But Hibs play good football and are competitive so we anticipate a tough game."
