Tonight, she’s in Glasgow, where she explores the complex relationship between the River Clyde and the city that it helped to make. The Clyde was instrumental in Glasgow’s founding, as demonstrated by the evidence she digs up of a busy Iron Age waterway.

Live Championship Boxing, Channel 5, 10pm
SCOT Josh Taylor takes on Winston Campos in this bout for the WBC Silver Super Lightweight title, taking place at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro. Campos, from Nicaragua, is stepping in for Mexican boxer Humberto Soto, who was forced out of the tie late last month after being injured while sparring. Taylor has yet to lose a fight since going professional, and has racked up 11 wins in that time, but feels that his new opponent will be a tougher test than Soto.

Troy: Fall Of A City, BBC1, 9.10pm
THE Greeks’ grip on the city of Troy tightens, forcing Hector and Paris to embark on a risky mission to enlist the aid of a nearby ally. With only each other for support, the brothers’ ordeal tests and strengthens their bond, but when a familiar face tells Hector the disturbing truth about Paris, the pair’s newfound kinship is placed in jeopardy once more. Meanwhile, back in Troy, Helen finally begins to win over Andromache and the people of the city with her generosity, but she remains unaware that Menelaus and Agamemnon have devised an audacious plan to steal her back.
