IN the last programme in the series, we meet rugby player Tom from Bridgend in Wales. He has recently branched out and taken to the catwalk and although his model looks and muscular physique have meant he’s not usually short of female attention, the 28-year-old also has Tourette syndrome and Asperger’s, and he is timid around women. Can he overcome this shyness? Next there’s Alex, who is autistic. He has just bought a new sports car but struggles in situations when he has to talk to new people.

Silent Witness
BBC 1, 9pm

PART one of two. Nikki and Jack attend the scene of a fatal car crash in which a driver lost control of her vehicle. The forensic evidence suggests it may not have been an accident and that the victim’s son – a resident of Kingscote Bows care home – could be involved in the death.

The pathologists and forensic scientists of the Lyell Centre begin to notice a pattern of foul play and a connection between the care home and other suspicious deaths.

Next of Kin
STV, 9pm

MONA is released from custody and agrees to become a tasked witness, which means she will a covert source for the police in their attempts to bring in her nephew Danny. However, the fall-out from her actions at home is disastrous and her marriage comes under more strain.

Trophy: The Big Game Hunting Controversy – Storyville
BC 4, 9pm

SINCE 1970, the world has lost 60 per cent of its wild animals, with African species such as elephants, rhinos and lions coming closer to extinction. This documentary meets some of the individuals who drive the big-game hunting industry, including a Texas trophy hunter and the world’s largest private rhino breeder, to explore the issues surrounding it and to ask whether it might even have a role to play in saving endangered animals.
