What to do?

In Holyrood on Tuesday the First Minister indicated that she supports the People’s Vaccine movement, which would have the wealthy countries, including the UK, drop the patents on Covid vaccines. She realises, unlike Mr Johnstone, that none of us is safe until the whole world is safe. She will write to the Prime Minister.

The First Minister has certainly stepped up to the plate, but what can WE do? We must write to our MSPs and urge them to attend the patents debate in Holyrood on December 21. A good turnout of MSPs will indicate to Westminster that Scotland is convinced that rich countries must act together to enable all countries to gain easy access to Covid vaccines.
