ENGINEERING firm Vert Rotors won top prize at the prestigious Made in Scotland awards in Glasgow.
The Edinburgh-based company was crowned overall winner of the Made in Scotland awards as well as picking up Innovator of the Year.
Judges were unanimous in their decision to acknowledge Vert Rotors for their ultra-compact and quiet compressors which produce 200 per cent higher pressure than their nearest competitors for their size.
Both awards recognise the company’s on-going innovation and growth, with the range of compressors all designed and manufactured in Scotland.
Olly Dmitriev, managing director of Vert Rotors said: “To be awarded two awards is such an honour and we are delighted that we have been recognised amongst strong competition.
“Vert Rotors has gone from strength to strength over the last 12 months, manufacturing new products and securing four patents for our micro compressor technology.”
