EDINBURGH digital technology consultancy FarrPoint has expanded its team in England with two new appointments.

Darren Kilburn is based in Newcastle and will build FarrPoint’s policy practice, with an initial focus on ensuring that regulatory requirements for funding and procurement are met in both the company’s public and private sector client base.

Kilburn previously worked for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport on the local full fibre networks programme.

Adam Nickerson will be based in FarrPoint’s newly-opened Manchester office and has more than 14 years’ experience in the IT and telecoms sector. He previously worked for Atos Consulting advising the MoD on a complex large scale network procurement, exit and transition programme.

FarrPoint chief executive, Andrew Muir, said: “As we continue to expand into the north of England their skills will ensure that FarrPoint is at the forefront for opportunity in the region and consolidates our resources across the board.”
