THE most extraordinary thing about this whole Brexit process is that the UK Government has managed to achieve so little, but make a mess of so much.
THE role of Depute Leader of the SNP is not really well defined in our constitution. Whoever is lucky enough to be voted into the role will have to work hard to make it their own. They’ll have the opportunity to shape it and to work alongside the existing leadership and with the NEC.
I’VE been campaigning for Scottish independence forever. It’s what caused me to join the SNP more than half my lifetime ago. I work for it every day, but that’s not the end of the journey. After independence there will still be work to do to ensure we have a socially just Scotland and that’s the end point I’m working towards.
SOMETHING like one in four people will experience poor mental health throughout their lifetimes. That’s a quarter of the folk you know. This is not some fringe issue that only affects a handful of people. Yet, we don’t really talk about it because talking about it can be really hard. I’m now in a place that I can talk about going through depression (and how for me, I don’t think the threat of it ever goes away).
