The National:

SCOTLAND has hit back at Trump visiting the country in its own unique way.

Artist Telt has set up a protest against the US President in Glasgow's West End.

The sign reads "Danger, huge dick visiting".

The National:

Trump is due to fly to Scotland this evening, before spending the weekend at his Turnberry golf course in Ayrshire.

A protest in George Square at 5pm will coincide with the president's arrival.

The National:

The Scotland United Against Trump group said it hoped about 3000 people would gather for the demo.

The Glasgow march is one of several being held across the country over the next two days, with anti-Trump campaigners also expected to target his Turnberry and Menie golf courses as well as the US consulate in Edinburgh.

Telt is no stranger to political protests. Following criticism of Katie Hopkins last week after using the murder of Alesha MacPhail on the Isle of Bute to stir up racial hate against refugees, Telt responded with a message for her which read "Refugees welcome here Kate Hopkins f*** off!"
