Kieran Tierney has suffered an injury at Real Sociedad prompting fears over his fitness to feature for Scotland at the Euros.
The former Celtic full-back is a key player for Steve Clarke in the national team.
However, with the Euros just around the corner, Real Sociedad have announced the defender has suffered a training injury.
The La Liga club - who signed Tierney on loan from Arsenal - confirmed a right adductor longus muscle injury to the 26-year-old.
The Scotland international has begun physical therapy but his return will be "gradual".
A club statement read: "Kieran Tierney suffered a right adductor longus muscle injury during training yesterday, 04-24-2024.
"He has begun to be treated through physical therapy.

"The return to normal activity will be gradual and will depend on the characteristics of the injury and the clinical evolution."
The injury sweat comes after news Lewis Ferguson is set to miss this summer's European Championships.
Bologna says the 24-year-old will go for an operation as a result of damage to his cruciate ligament in his knee, with his recovery time period to be assessed afterward.
With less than two months to go until Euro 2024 in Germany though, it seems that Ferguson's injury comes as a bitter blow for both the player and Scotland.
A short statement on the club's website says: "Lewis Ferguson today underwent a medical examination which revealed that he has sustained an injury to his cruciate ligament.
"He will undergo an operation, after which his recovery time will be assessed."
