Contact has been made with Rangers for a potential double transfer pursuit this summer, according to a report.
It was previously known that European side Trabzonspor were keen to make Borna Barisic one of their first summer signings upon the expiry of his contract at Ibrox this summer.
Now, it has emerged the Turkish outfit are eyeing up a swoop for both the Croatian and John Lundstram at the end of the season.
A report in Turkey claims Trabzonspor has made contact over a potential switch for the scouser who has just months left on his current deal.
The ex-Sheffield United man has been relaxed when addressing his future publicly but has hinted that he's open to remaining at Ibrox after playing such an integral part under Philippe Clement's revival of the team.
No agreement has been struck yet though, and so the player is free to discuss his future with any interested parties.

Meanwhile, Steve Clarke has suggested that Nathan Patterson’s Scotland form has suffered because he has not featured regularly for Everton in the Premier League in England this year.
However, he has backed the former Rangers right back to learn invaluable lessons from the costly error he made in the 1-0 defeat to Northern Ireland in a friendly international at Hampden on Tuesday evening.
Patterson gave the ball away to Conor Bradley inside his own penalty box in the first half of the game and the Liverpool youngster fired, with a little help of a deflection, into the top right corner to open his account at international level.
The 6ft tall 22-year-old, who started in the matches against the Netherlands and Northern Ireland because Aaron Hickey of Brentford is sidelined with a hamstring injury and has not played since October, has enjoyed some outstanding games in a dark blue jersey in the past.
