Our front page told no word of a lie – unlike Carmichael
THE National’s front page provoked quite a reaction yesterday, but not everyone loved it as much as we did. Still, we think it was one of our best. And, of course, Alistair Carmichael is definitely a liar.
One internet user wanted to make sure anyone looking at Carmichael’s Wikipedia page was in no doubt about his relationship with the truth. In the personal life section of the website, one user changed, “he lists his interests as listening to music, theatre and cooking,” to “he lists his interests as lying, lying, lying, lying, lying, lying, lying, lying, & lying.”
The truth is, of course, that Carmichael likes music, theatre, cooking and lying.
