MORE than 20 ‘evil Ronald McDonalds’ descended on the McDonald’s burger outlet on Glasgow’s Argyle Street yesterday to protest against zero hours contracts and low pay.
The activists from Glasgow Fast Food Rights and Better Than Zero held a ‘precarious work picnic’ where they tucked into ‘Unhappy Meals’ with ‘a feast of low pay and zero hours contracts and no union rights’.
They were then ‘overcome with food poisoning and an impromptu die-in’.
