JAPANESE fashion brand Uniqlo has opened its first store in Scotland in Edinburgh, featuring a special Irn-Bru inspired product.

The new shop will be the 19th branch in the UK, although shoppers in Scotland are excited to have one north of the Border, with the shop due to open at 9am.

The first 100 customers through the door will be gifted a special goody bag while app scan customers are to be entered into a draw to win a trip to Tokyo.

Upon opening, shoppers can expect to see the brand’s 2024 spring/summer line as well as its full range of clothing for women, men, babies and children.

The brand is particularly well known for its crossbody bag and those heading to the Edinburgh store will be able to get it with a unique Scottish twist.

As part of its embroidery service, there are a number of Irn-Bru themed patches available to have put on suitable items right in the store at a specialist counter.
