HUMZA Yousaf has brought a sudden end to the Bute House Agreement with the Scottish Greens.

After the Scottish Government announced that it would be ditching its 2030 climate targets and welcomed NHS Scotland's decision to pause prescribing puberty blockers to under-18s, the membership of the Scottish Greens demanded an extraordinary general meeting be held to discuss the future of the power sharing deal.

The meeting was scheduled to take place next month however Yousaf appears to have pushed the Greens before they could jump.

While some figures within the SNP such as Joanna Cherry and Fergus Ewing have long been calling for the Bute House Agreement to end, others have stressed the value of the deal and warned against ruling as a minority government.
