MHAIRI Black and Humza Yousaf are among "the world's most influential young people in Government".
The SNP MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South and the Holyrood Justice Secretary made the cut on a global list of 100 future leaders.

They were picked by Apolitical, a platform supporting the work of public servants, whose funders and partners include the UK Cabinet Office, European Commission, Canadian Government and World Economic Forum.
While Black and Yousaf were not in the top 20, no other UK MPs or MSPs made the list.

Also ranked in the top 100 was Magid Magid, the Green party Lord Mayor of Sheffield.
Announcing the rankings on its website, Apolitical said: "Drawing on hundreds of nominations from experts and leading organisations, the list recognises people in the field of government and policy who have made a mark early in their careers (everyone on the list is aged 35 or below).

"These include some well-known faces at the centre of policymaking who are exerting influence on the international stage. But we also shine the spotlight on those quietly transforming the face of government at the local or national level.

Black is 24 years old, and first secured her Westminster seat in 2015's general election.
She was the first MP to be elected under the Electoral Administration Act 2006's reduction of the age of candidacy from 21 to 18 years old.
She is also a columnist for The National.
Yousaf is 34 years old and, as well as his Cabinet role, has been the SNP MSP for Glasgow Pollok since 2016.
He was first elected to the Scottish Parliament as a list MSP for Glasgow – the youngest MSP to be elected, at the age of just 25.
