ALERT readers of The National will have noticed the absence of a certain much-loved columnist from our pages over the past few weeks.
That’s because the Wee Ginger Dug (or at least his master Paul Kavanagh) was getting married in America. We said he could have some time off!
Unfortunately the Dug couldn’t make it to the States, but on October 26, on a beach in South Portland, Paul and Peter Bellefleur were married – and we’re delighted to have the world exclusive on the pictures (sorry Hello! magazine – better luck next time).
On behalf of everybody at The National and Sunday National, best wishes to the happy couple!
And don’t worry... the Wee Ginger Dug will be back writing in these pages before too long.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
