ON Saturday, the new series of Strictly Come Dancing started in earnest as the 15 celebrities took to the floor, which means its sister show is now back as well. Host Zoe Ball will be looking back at the weekend’s live show, bringing us all the backstage gossip and chatting to some of the famous faces and their partners about how it went and what we can expect from their next routine.

Reported Missing, BBC1, 9pm

CHESIRE Police launch a major search for the missing 40-year-old Michael Price but, as the weeks turn into months, the passing time proves torturous for his loved ones and they remain in limbo and frustrated at the lack of developments. Underwater Search, National Police Air Service helicopters and specialist search resources check every nook and cranny of his home town of Northwich to no avail, and a number of potential phoned-in sightings from members of the public just add to the mystery.

Black Earth Rising, BBC2, 9pm

KATE works alongside Michael to defend Alice Munezero from the charges laid against her in France, but as shadowy forces try to prevent the truth being unearthed, Kate faces worrying threats to her personal safety. Meanwhile, Michael struggles with his health issues back in London – can they both continue forward to gain an acquittal for Alice? Thriller written and directed by Hugo Blick, starring Michaela Coel, Harriet Walter, John Goodman, Noma Dumezweni and Ronald Gultman.

Strangers, STV, 9pm

When Jonah realises that his late wife Megan was involved with Hong Kong’s most dangerous players, he starts to wonder whether those closest to her may know more than they have let on, dragging him further into a world of intrigue. Thriller, starring John Simm as the British professor whose life is turned upside down by his wife’s tragic death, with Anthony Wong, Emilia Fox, Katie Leung, Anthony Hayes and Tim McInnerny, directed by the award-winning and critically acclaimed Paul Andrew Williams.
