A Mile in My Shoes

Visitors will be invited to walk a mile in the shoes of a young local stranger while listening to their 10-minute story. Presented by Empathy Museum (UK) and part of the Findhorn Bay Festival.

Chronicles

Glasgow-based dance collective Project X and South Africa’s Thulani Rachia have worked with young people from Edinburgh to present re-imagined histories in this promenade piece.

Young men in HMYOI Polmont worked with Glas(s) Performance, the producers of award-winning young people’s company Junction 25, to create a piece exploring identity and inheritance.

Theatre-maker, comedian and disability rights activist Jess Thom’s collaborative work with a group of disabled young people from across Scotland.

Russia’s AKHE and young people in Aberdeen have created a new piece of site-specific physical theatre inspired by the unknown inventions and life of Alexander Bell.

The World Is A Wedding – The Presentation of Unst in Everyday Life

Mammalian Diving Reflex from Canada team up with young people of Shetland for a piece inspired by Canadian sociologist Erving Goffman who studied the people of Unst in 1948.
