AN Oxfordshire duo who appeared on Dragons' Den this weekend have said they are now just trying to keep up with the orders.

Liz Beswick and Camilla Brown appeared on the latest edition of the BBC 2 show on Sunday, pitching their product CollaGin – a gin containing powdered collagen protein, which helps keep skin elastic and youthful-looking.

Oxford Mail:

The PR professionals, who live in Cassington and Appleton respectively, were asking the dragons for £50,000 for 10 per cent of the business.

The pitch got off to a rocky start when the pair had to admit that the amount of collagen powder in their gin meant that punters would have to drink several bottles to get a recommended daily dose, then saw three dragons pull out.

However despite the tough start, fashion tycoon Touker Suleyman and pharmaceuticals magnate Tej Lalvani ended up offering the pair all the money in exchange for a combined 30 per cent of the business.

The duo accepted and told the Oxford Mail today: "The show went down a storm! Trying to keep up with orders now!"
