The National:

IF a policy of children being ripped from their parents and put into cages isn't enough to earn a condemnation of Donald Trump from the Prime Minister, what will be?

As Jeremy Corbyn spent six questions tangling with Theresa May over the English NHS at PMQs, Ian Blackford provided the very clear highlight of the day.

Blackford, the SNP's Westminster leader, pressed May on the "red carpet" her government is rolling out for a visit from the US president.

May decided to start her response with a joke about the SNP walk-out last week. "I'm pleased to see him in this chamber," she said. It's good to see the Tories still haven't lost their humour about the ripping up of the devolution settlement.

And here's the rest of the exchange, showing May performing some astounding mental gymnastics to avoid criticising Trump directly.

And May wasn't the only member of her party trying to avoid upsetting The Donald.

How incredibly low will Trump have to sink for the Tories to stop appeasing him?
