"WHAT'S going on inside Ross Thomson's head?" is a question we often find ourselves asking, as he continues to serve up bizarre interventions on an almost daily basis.
We would never dare to suggest that the Tory MP is empty-headed ... but this GIF is pretty hard to argue with.
Thomson posted a clip on his Twitter a couple of days back, railing against the SNP's complaints about the lack of debate on the EU Withdrawal Bill's impact on devolution.
His claims of it being "fake news" are bizarre enough – as evidenced by the huge swell of support for the SNP over the issue – but that wasn't all that's odd.
Twitter user Sarah Mackie (@lumi_1984) spotted something else – and her GIF of it has went viral on Twitter.
The timing of that bus though 😂🤣 pic.twitter.com/Iqc2esXuBL

It appears to show a bus entering the Tory MP's left ear, then exiting his right. He kindly tilts his head to help the bus's journey.
We've always thought Thomson was quite big-headed – but to fit a vehicle that size in there?
If you'd like to have a laugh at the whole video, here it is:
🎥 WATCH: The anger & gnashing of teeth coming from the SNP about the devolution debate is nothing more than manufactured fake news to create more grievance. They were ably helped by Labour who wanted to smother the debate to avoid exposing their own splits #FakeNews #devolution pic.twitter.com/OHfi51GAgW

For his next trick, he could try standing up for Scotland against the power grab. That'd probably be a more incredible feat for a Tory to pull off.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
