THERE are still a few tickets left for The Gathering which is being held in the Albert Halls, Stirling tomorrow.

It’s the first formal meeting of Yes groups from across the country and is being organised by the National Yes Registry.

Former MP Dennis Canavan will give the keynote speech and The National revealed last week that the SNP’s Mhairi Black will address the Gathering by video link.

Participants will then come together in workshops to help develop and guide grassroots supporters into an effective campaigning movement, ready for indyref2, whenever it’s called.

The price of £14 includes a hot morning roll, late lunch and all-day refreshments.

Registration and brunch is from 9:30-10:45, and the event finishes at 6:30pm. After, there’s a bar and live music until 9:30pm for those who want to socialise.

Just a wee reminder that on Monday night in Edinburgh, National columnist Lesley Riddoch will launch the first screening of Nation, a series of films about Scotland’s small, successful European neighbours. The screening is in association with Phantom Power.

The free viewing of the first film – Faroe Islands: The Connected Nation – starts at 7pm in the Methodist Church Centre, 25 Nicholson Square. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.

Phantom Power will also launch a crowdfunder to finance other films, so Scots can learn about other small Northern countries.

On Wednesday, we’ll bring you information about the All Under One Banner march in Dumfries.
