The Royal Wedding may have been two days ago, but that hasn't stopped some of Scotland's newspapers from giving it yet another front page splash.
The Scottish Daily Mail have really delivered today...
Not only have they managed to splash big on another royal family story, they also managed to name check Princess Diana. They know their audience, at least...
Not that the Scottish Sun was any better.
Or the Daily Express.
Incredibly, the Express have actually missed a chance to mention Princess Diana here. They must have been kicking themselves when they saw the Daily Mail's front page.
On the top right though, they have mentioned that the starting gun on a second independence referendum could be firing soon - and this is what most other papers led with.
The Herald has gone with the news that the SNP 's growth commission will be published this week, specifically focusing on the angle that the First Minister has been accused of chasing indy "at any cost".
The Daily Record also splashed on #indyref2.
It's quite the bumper edition of the Record today. Celtic fans can get a pull-out celebrating their treble win - and Ranger's fans can pick up their royal wedding souvenir since they have nothing else to celebrate.
And finally, our very own front page.
Frankly, it's nice to see independence on the front page of newspapers other than just our own for change.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
