The National:

The Herald has also decided to lead on education today.

The National:

While the top line seems to suggest that pupils probably just need a good belting to get back in line, reading past that reveals that teachers themselves blame poverty and budget cuts.

The front page also features a photo of Ruth Davidson next to a large artillery gun. No surpises there, I guess.

The i has also led with a story from First Minister's Questions yesterday.

The National:

Murdo Fraser raised a question yesterday on whether or not the SNP were planning to give prisoners the right to vote.

I don't think there is a better example of the political make-up of the Scottish Parliament than what happened next.

The Tories said no prisoner should have the right to vote. The SNP said some prisoners should have the right to vote. The Greens said every prisoner should have the right to vote.

The Scottish Sun has followed along with this one.

The National:

Mentions of the Royal Wedding: 1 (but with further coverage on pages 4, 5, 28 and 29)
