BY now, you'd expect Theresa May to have learned to take extra care with the backdrop she uses for key speeches... but apparently that isn't the case.
Giving a major speech on housing policy and "building a Britain fit for the future", May spoke in front of an odd-looking fake brick wall, with her lectern making it appearshe was speaking from the top of a chimney.
With May's last backdrop mishap seeing the letters on the wall behind her falling off in a fitting metaphor for her party, users on social media found plenty more connections in this latest speech.
