RIO Grande, the captivating single from Vive La Rose aka Edinburgh-born artist David Luximon-Herbert is premiered on The National's website from today!

Taken from Vive La Rose’s forthcoming album For She Who Hangs The Moon, out later this year, it's an escapist tale of a couple who long to travel the world but are trapped by circumstance.

Sung with the gruff humanity of Mark “Eels” Everett and featuring a glistening, Fleet Foxes-like string arrangement by Colin Elliot (Richard Hawley/Slow Club) and The Up North Orchestra, the track sees Luximon-Herbert branch out from his predominantly acoustic earlier work.
