THREE Glasgow businesses teamed up to give panto-goers a treat yesterday.

Glasgow Taxi drivers were on hand to help cast members dish out mince pies and hot chocolate to those waiting in line for the matinee performance of Sleeping Beauty at The King’s Theatre.

The festive treats were prepared by the team at Chez Mal Brasserie and Bar at Malmaison Hotel on West George Street as part of Glasgow Taxis #Glasgowgifting campaign, which gives a prize to one passenger every day.

Glasgow Taxis chairman Stephen Flynn said: “This December we have made it our mission to surprise and delight the people of the city.

“We’ve designed a cab like a sleigh, allowed Santa behind the wheel for the whole month and we’re giving out 24 fantastic prizes.

“Christmas is all about giving, and after talking to our friends at Chez Mal at Malmaison and The King’s, we decided that together we could do something really special for Glaswegians.”
