IT'S that time of year again, with panto season in full swing.

Top show? It has to be Babes In The Wood – a Brexiting Fairy Tale, starring “Dimwit” Davis as Numpty, the Clodhopping Clown, with his hilarious catchphrase “It’ll be Allright on the Night!” (Oh no it won’t!) and “Bonkers Boris”, the itinerant Jester (“Just whistle for it”), not forgetting Foxy, the sly villain (Boo!).

Clueless Corbo – “the joker who can’t make up his mind” – has yet to decide whether or not to join the cast.

Nevertheless, this fabulously expensive production is guaranteed to bring the house down (and the country too).

Will Mayday, the strongly stable Principal Boy – (“Who needs principles!”) – save the day?

The show ends with the rousing chorus “Brexit... Wrexit... let’s call the whole thing off” – acclaimed by critics as a showstopper (“Please stop this show” – Nicola S).

Everyone joins in the chorus as they bring down the curtain – “It’s Curtains for Everyone!”
