OVER 22,000 users are tracking the flight believed to be carrying Priti Patel as she journeys back to London to potentially face the sack.

Patel is suspected to be flying back from Nairobi to London today following the revelation that she had held more secretive meetings than originally known. Jim Waterson, the political editor of Buzzfeed UK, tweeted that there was only one direct flight that matched Patel’s journey, leading many to believe that she is currently on this flight.

Flight KQ100 currently has 22,000 users tracking the journey online according to Flightradar24, a website that lets users track any flight in the world. According to a tweet from the company, an average plane journey will be tracked by up to 200 people at most when it comes to popular flights.

The mass fascination of the journey from the UK media has led some on Twitter to compare it to the excitement of the televised OJ Simpson car chase – albeit a far slower, less interesting, version of it.

Information about the plane suggests it does not have wi-fi, meaning that Patel is likely unaware of new accusations of a cover-up on how much Downing Street knew about her meetings in Israel.

The plane touches down in Heathrow at 15:00, where Patel is expected to be very surprised by what is waiting for her.
