GLASGOW Warriors maintained their 100 per cent record in this season’s PRO14 with a 37 -10 victory over Munster at Scotstoun.

First-half tries from Leonardo Sarto and Lee Jones – both of which were converted by Finn Russell – sent the home side on their way to a bonus-point win.

Warriors captain Ryan Wilson was welcomed back to the Glasgow side for last night’s comfortable victory having missed the previous weekend’s nail-biting win in Cardiff. His inclusion was the only change made by head coach Dave Rennie.

It took Sarto just seven minutes to make an impact, as he powered through a late tackle to score.

Russell’s conversion was followed by two penalty goals, with Rory Scannell’s unconverted try the only reply from Munster in the opening period.

Warriors added another try before the break though – this time it was Jones who crossed the line following a break down the blindside. After the break it was more of the same: Nick Grigg darted into the corner after receiving a pass from Jones. Russell converted once again before Connor Farrell reduced the deficit with another unconverted try.

Russell’s penalty less than 10 minutes later staved off any ideas of a fightback before Scott Cummings ensured a bonus-point with his side’s fourth try in the match – predictably converted by Russell.

Sarto was involved for this one too, holding off several tackles before feeding the ball to Cummings.

Things went from bad to worse for the away side when William Wycherley was dismissed after the referee had consulted the big screen. During his consultation, the official adjudged that Wycherley had connected with a head during a ruck.

The win means Warriors leapfrog their opponents at the top of Group A, with both having completed four fixtures.
