DUNCAN Scott has won a silver medal in the 4x100 metres medley relay, adding to his gold from an earlier event.

Peaty, the world 50m and 100m breaststroke champion, was rested in the morning’s heats with Scotland’s Ross Murdoch swimming the second leg in his place.

Elsewhere, Hannah Miley was eighth in the women’s 400m individual medley, which was won by Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu in a championship record of 4:29.33.
