ARIANA Grande’s One Last Time has re-entered the UK charts following a campaign to pay tribute to victims of the Manchester Arena attack.

The lyrics, “So one last time I need to be the one who takes you home. One more time, I promise after that I’ll let you go”, which were printed on The National’s front page tribute to Barra schoolgirl Eilidh MacLeod, are now unbearably poignant.

One Last Time was Grande’s last song at the concert and young fans were singing it as they left the stadium just minutes before a bomb went off killing 22 people, including Eilidh, and leaving her friend Laura MacIntyre fighting for her life.

The single, originally released in the UK in 2015, is from the pop star’s My Everything album, and surged from outside of the top 200 in midweek to 11 in yesterday’s charts.

Fans opted to back a campaign to get the song into the charts after footage on social media showed the crowd singing along at the concert, moments before the blast.

Grande’s latest album, Dangerous Woman, has also climbed 32 places to 30. The singer’s tour, which was due to include two dates in London this week, has been suspended, up to and including her June 5 date in Switzerland.

A father of three and American film producer has written an open letter to Ariana Grande after the singer expressed how sorry she was for the terror attack on Monday.

Patrick Millsaps, 44, who lives in Georgia, US, decided to write the letter after Grande tweeted following the attack that she was “broken” and “so so sorry”.

After posting it on Twitter, it has been shared more than 13,000 times and liked by pop stars Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Grande herself.

“I am a father of three daughters — ages 13, 12 and 12. So you have been a part of our family for years,” Millsaps wrote.
